Distance Shouldn’t Decide Your Health
As you know, our district-wide public engagement campaign is focused on listening to residents and better understanding their personal interactions with health care across our communities, so that future decisions around local care are informed, and can be made with common themes in mind.
The Survey component of Rainy District Health Care Matters will run from Sept. 16-Nov. 20, 2026. Town Halls are being scheduled from Oct. 20-27. The main website with all the information is now live at
rrdoht.ca/healthcarematters.
To make sure every resident across the district has an opportunity to take part, we’ve created multiple ways to participate in the survey. It has launched online, and a paper copy will also reach all mailboxes in the district in the coming days.
Although we are heavily promoting online participation as the best option, we have also created this landing page for you to be able to download and share paper copies and the accompanying materials so you can support any of your patients, clients, colleagues, friends or family members who are not able to take the survey online, or are unable to access the internet. These can be returned through your organization or by mail.
Please remind everyone that only one copy per person can be accepted.
