Appointments for Rainy River District Residents: helping those without a doctor, or with difficulty getting seen for minor issues.
Did you know there’s an option for Northwestern Ontario residents to connect virtually with a nurse practitioner to discuss minor health issues?
Our goal is to help every member of the Rainy River District find a family doctor. But in the current health landscape, other options are often necessary. We recommend the NorWest Community Health Centres Virtual Care Clinic for issues that don’t require a visit to your closest emergency department.
From simple ailments such as sinus infections, sore throats or stomach issues to prescription refills or even a review of test results, a virtual visit for non-life-threatening conditions through NorWest CHC might be exactly what you need when you either can’t get a timely appointment with your family doctor or don’t have one.
