Healthcare Experiences Look Different Across the Rainy River District

Our management team and our RRDOHT partners are looking to connect with and listen to the people who live here, to better understand what healthcare looks like in our communities, and to ensure local voices help inform future healthcare conversations and planning.

We’re doing this through a district-wide public engagement campaign — which includes a public survey you can participate in quickly and easily right here on the website, or through written copies mailed out across the district. We also want to hear from you in person at our Town Halls that will soon be finalized in Atikokan, Fort Frances, Emo and Rainy River.

The information gathered through these experiences will be studied and brought back to you, as the voices of our communities, for validation — so we can be sure we’ve captured the critical issues you face in your personal health journey to streamline our local health system and better advocate the specific needs identified by members of our district.
